Architect AAA (Retired, Life Member)

Rick is an Architect (Retired, Life Member) with the Alberta Association of Architects and has practiced in Edmonton for over 40 years. He is our company founder and is involved in the design process of every Urbis project and has designed hundreds of homes in his career. He has an incredible passion for residential design, development, and community building.

Over his career Rick lead a large Architectural Firm of over 65 employees completing Architectural commissions including Urban Design, Master Planning, Civic Buildings, Multi Family Residential , Office and Commercial Retail Projects across Western Canada and into the US. During his tenure, the firm received many distinguished Architectural Awards. Rick has also volunteered as the Project Director for a variety of projects, most notably the prestigious Art Gallery of Alberta and most recently the Pilgram’s Hospice completed in Crestwood!
