Meet Our Construction Team!

Nick Kraus

Nick Kraus is a seasoned Site Superintendent with Urbis. We know that with building custom infill homes, challenges can (and will) happen. But with Nick’s invaluable experience in the industry, we trust that our team has the ability to solve problems efficiently. Nick’s expertise guides a successful build — from initial drawing to the finished structure!

Nick Murray

As we always say at Urbis – the only thing better than one Nick, is two! Please join us in welcoming our newest Team Member – Nick Murray – in the role of Site Superintendent. Skilled in carpentry and woodworking, and experienced in custom residential construction, Nick has already demonstrated what an incredible addition he is to our talented team!

Responsive client care and quality construction are always top priorities for Urbis, which is why having the right level of Site Supervision is key. We know our clients, trade partners and vendors will all enjoy working with Nick, just as we have these last few months

Sarah Trommeshauser

Sarah is the Project Coordinator for Urbis. Her journey with our team started with our sister company, Waters Edge, where she was the Marketing Coordinator. Since then, Sarah has transitioned to her role as Project Coordinator and Estimator for Urbis. She enjoys assisting clients to build their dream homes, while making sure we stay within budget and keep the project running smoothly.

Jeff Machin

Jeff is the Construction Manager for Urbis. He brings over 15 years of experience in construction, ranging from commercial to multi-family, to high-end custom residential projects. Jeff is a savvy problem solver and hands-on leader, with an acute eye for detail.
As a member of the Leadership Team, Jeff supports the business overall, playing a key role in leading the construction team on the execution of exceptional homes for Urbis’ valued clients.

Churchill House

Exterior of Churchill house and Interior of Churchill House: The 2nd floor vault and front entry space. Once complete this room will feature weathered wood beams and a stunning feature chandelier.

Our clients loved the idea of a modern farmhouse to fit in with the character of the neighborhood. Even with a variance on this permit application, once we showed the rendering to the neighbors we had full support of this proposed design.

We feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to work on this custom home design and build on Riverside Drive in Crestwood. This home is currently in framing stages and will be completed in early 2023. Stay tuned on Instagram for design sneak peaks and work-in-progress updates!
